Great school, supportive staff! It’s wonderful to be at a school with such open communication, problem solving, individualized programming, and investment in my child. My son now looks forward to school, working with his friends and feels successful. I like the research based curriculum that is offered for students with learning disabilities. The low student to teacher ratio means that he can get help whenever he needs assistance. The help he gets is targeted to his learning needs and it’s been great to see him make progress. I also like that the staff continues to stay current with continuing education/training for themselves, in order to best meet student’s needs.

Our son has severe dyslexia and great difficulty in math. At the end of first grade his public school teacher told us he may never read. We were referred to Sea of Strengths by his speech therapist at Easter Seals. The teaching methods, combined with small classroom size, attentive and dedicated staff made all the difference. We are proud to say his reading and math skills are now at near grade level. He would not have made such great strides at any other school. We are only sorry we have to look for another placement for high school. If your child is struggling don’t wait and hope it will improve with time. I encourage you to call SOSA and ask to speak with teachers and parents for more details.

Sea of Strengths has been a lifesaver for our daughter. We love the individualized attention the students receive with the small class sizes. The staff is wonderful at SOSA. They are dedicated and caring. Our daughter is happy, loves learning, and feels more confident. I love to see the how excited she gets when she brings home her report card. I would highly recommend this school. You will not be disappointed.
